Being the father of a neurodivergent gestalt communicator with a passion for numbers can be challenging. As I’ve mentioned in other posts, my son spends a lot of time “air-writing” and solving complex equations on his imaginary chalkboard. Every morning, he greets his mum and I with his number of the day (today’s number was 48). It’s our task to decipher the meaning.

This article made me laugh. While the thought of 51 cases filled with 918 melting popsicles being dropped at the door by a frustrated Amazon delivery driver gives me a shiver or two, the thought of another boy (with a passion for numbers like my like my son) excitedly repeating the number 51 in anticipation of the feast to come is heartwarming.
